Superheadz Slim Angel 35mm Camera and Photo Shots

Though it cost less than $30, I was super excited about owning this super adorable toy camera as it’s my first and only Lomo camera. The Superheadz Slim Angel is a 100% manual film camera, and having never used anything similar before, I learnt everything from scratch, including how to load and unload the film. (Thank goodness for Youtube!)

It was my first time using a Lomo camera and I had never been so looking forward to collecting my prints from the shop. This was what everyone was talking about – the unpredictability of manual cameras ๐Ÿ™‚ With automatic digital cameras, you could review your shot instantly and snap dozens of photos indiscriminately, but with a film camera, you’d frame your shot carefully – because every shot counts.

Here are some shots I took with the Superheadz Slim Angel, it gives a wonderful retro look to your photos! I highly recommend using this to take photos of historical buildings and streets ๐Ÿ™‚

Pulau Ubin jetty – a nice rustic island off Singapore mainland
Sun beams peeping through the canopy of trees
Raffles Hotel and its elegant colonial ย charm
Shophouses along Purvis Street in the Bugis area – LOTS of delectable food here by the way
