The Singapore Flyer, at 165m (around 42 stories high), is the world’s tallest Ferris Wheel, rivaling the London Eye. Well that’s until the New York Wheel, at 187m, is completed, due in 2015.
When I was still in University (not too long ago), the occasional ride across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge often got me excited as I saw segments of the Singapore Flyer being attached together as the months went by. It was as if the engineers were drawing a giant circle with steel and cables!

The official slogan for the Singapore Flyer is ‘A Moving Experience at Every Turn’ and yes I can’t agree more! 🙂
